Gym + Music

Well, it's been a while. School is currently back in session (blech), and I ache. Stupid Gym Teacher decided that since it's been spring break, we should 'up and go'. So we had to do this dumb thing where we run back and forth across the gym, doing different things. Running, jogging, hopping on one leg, doing lunges, running to half court, back to the 'starting' line, and then to the finishing line... NOT FUN!!!! And, we've been working in the weight room. Combine that with the fact that I babysit a little one-year-old boy who is increasingly growing, and weight almost 30 pounds. Yeah, my arms REALLY ache.

Anyway, I have to give a shout-out to this FANTASTIC website, called www.playlist.com (click here). Here's how it works:

You create an account. You need your e-mail address, a username and a password (which needs to be entered twice). THAT'S IT!!! Then, you start by 'creating a playlist'. you go through the website, by typing in the search box, searching by artist or song title, and it'll give you a page that says something like '967 results for blah-blah', or whatever you typed in. In front of the song, it will have two buttons: a button like a triangle that means 'play' (it will tell the artist or how long it is), or a plus sign, which means you add it to your playlist. You don't have to create an account, but it's nice so you have a playlist of songs YOU like, and can listen to later (You can just listen to the music, but not create a playlist).

You can add it to your myspace or facebook, or you can 'publish' your playlist, which means other people can listen to your playlist. You can add a comment about your playlist, or rearrange it... There's a bunch of stuff you can do, but I don't really look at that stuff. You can just listen to it, too. It's pretty awesome, if I may say so myself. I supppose there are songs you can't find on there. I tried looking, but didn't find anything. They actually have a lot of new things, like that new Kelly Clarkson "My Life Would Suck Without You" (a favorite of mine!), and Nickleback's "Somebody Out There For Me", or whatever it's called.

Anyway, you guys should hop over there and give it a try. Let me know what you think.
