All right, just a quick few things before I dive into this entry. First of all, I read Emma P's last 'after-thought' (if you will), and read that-for those of you that didn't read it-after high school ie college, and dating RM (Returned Missionaries for the LDS Church), things are not so... dramatic. Very nice to know, seeing as I'm finished with drama.
Anyway, I just got back from a shopping trip with one of my many BFF's, and we went to Kohl's clearance section-best section, since I can't necessarily spend $20+ on 1 shirt. Not happenin'. Anyway, I managed to get 3 shirts and 1 new pair of jeans (flare, my fave!) for under $40! WA-HOO!!! Just FYI, I don't do these kind of shopping sprees. A trip to the store usually means going to Wal-Mart for food (no lie), and I go with my mom. This was a very exciting experience for MOI, and I saw a cute jacket that would work PERFECTLY for church... MUST...GO...BACK...
So, for today's post! MUSIC! Everybody say 'yay': (many DULL, NOT-EXCITED voices): yay.
This is the band Train, with their new song 'Hey, Soul sister!' I love being... artsy, if you will, and the way he did this video is simply amazing. I, personally, think he's sorta-kinda-maybe cute... BUT THAT'S JUST ME.
Enjoy!

More Change!
I think we're going to change things up a bit here. After all, change is good, right?
For example, next week we're going into the second semester. Classes are changing, and I am THRILLED!!! I am going to have an internship and I'm excited, because I'll be interning for a veterinarian! It takes up two class periods, which takes up about 3 hours. For those of you who think that is long, that's nothing. The teacher is FABULOUS, and I am pretty excited.
Due to the fact that this semester is ending, guess what? We get Monday (Martin Luther King Jr. Day), and Tuesday off. Very excited.
Anyway, I have an English class with one of my closest friends, and I am even more excited for that. My classes are going to be good. Way excited.
My vacation was something of an exciting sort, and I wish it had lasted longer. My cousins and I are now in contact, and we got closer. Loved it. It rained and snowed, considering that it NEVER snows in this part of the north. It was really nice.
Nothing has changed much with me, in total. I am going to grow my hair out, and I'm not going to color it, although I am leaning toward going red. Not definite.
No boyfriends, and guess what? I am SOOOO cool with that. Boys are so... I don't know. I watched other girls have boy drama, and I didn't need it. Don't get me wrong, there are some (few) cute guys, but what the hey!
Me and me friends are hoping to hang out during the long weekend, and I'm WAYYYY excited. I live from break to break, literally.

Life is good
Hello, and Happy New Year! YES! It's the new year, and I just have to say I HATE New Year's Resolution. All the teachers at school, "Let's make a list of New Year's Resolution"... BORING!!! They actually didn't do that this year, and that's OK. I have no New Year's Resolution. I like myself the way I am, and dieting or eating more is OFF the list. My personality... is me. I like myself, and I can't commit to anything except for my career path to be a veterinarian. Yes, it still holds true. I'm hoping to get a job in a vet office, and I'm doing an internship at school for/at a vet office. My teacher who teaches the class is extremely nice, and I really like her-I've had to talk to her about arranging my schedule as well as signing paperwork and stuff like that, which is how I know her.
I would just like to say that a lot of things happened this last year, and there are some things I need to say. I know they're not reading, but this is a 'shout-out' to the Kunz's family, a family of four, but as of Dec. 17, 2009, a family of 3. Their son whom I was friends with since about 8th grade, passed away due to cancer he had been battling since about the time I met him (ha ha, very funny. NO, it was not me!). He fought valiantly until the day he died, and he was an EXTREMELY spiritual young man, one that will never be forgotten.
Second of all, my baby bunny, Presto, was put down Nov. 21, 2009, due to a disease that I could not cure. For you animal lovers out there, I had no choice. If I did, I would have done everything in my power to stop what happened, but I did what I thought was best, and put her in a better place. She is so much happier now, and does not have to deal with the pain she had been dealing with for the two weeks before she had died. It was an extremely tough decision, but God was there for me, as he has been since the day I have been born.
Enough with death. My family and I were able to go on vacation the two weeks we got off of school. It was lots of fun, and we were able to see family. I am not particularly close to any family on my dad's side, but he has one older brother who lives up north, and I am pretty close to my cousins, both girls, and they are younger than me. We get along pretty well, and we're now keeping in contact via e-mail. Very exciting.
Winter is coming to a close, and it's been a relatively cold one this year. I'm excited for spring, as well as summer. I have been invited to go travel in Europe with a group who has us go, and we get to learn, too! I would love to go, however, there are many conflicts. A-Financially. We're not poor, but my mom was planning another trip, which leads to B-Traveling. My mom wants to go south to visit family, and I didn't go last time, and I would love to go this time.
Anyway, I thought I had to let you guys know how I am, and to say 'hi' to all. It's been a long time, and I hope to see some of you soon! Good luck with life.
