Dancin' the night away...

Sorry about my last post. Does it show up weird on your computer? Do the pictures show up? I hope so. Even the words are a little bit bigger. Real sorry about that. I was having such a HARD time just posting that. Anyway...

My weekend was a-OK. I got to sleep in, went to a dance I really didn't want to go to, but thanks to one of my closest friends, Blonde Party Dancer, went with me, things got a LOT better. Mr. T was going, which is why I had to go, seeing as I drive and all. My feet were pretty sore, but that's kind of because I'd been walking around all day, and my feet decided to be extra-sensitive that day. How odd.

We ate lots of cookies. They were the size of quarters, though (like, the change?), and they were just CUTE!!! They had macadamia, and chocolate chip. Hated the macadamia, and LOVED the chocolate chip. Lots of water, too. Then, the 'boot-scoot-'n'-boogie' came on. That is probably one of my most FAVORITE songs, and threw ALL my energy into it. Yeah, I probably got some crazy looks from people, but guess what?

I DON'T CARE.

That's how I burn my energy, so people can give me ANY look they want to, 'cause I'll just look at them and say, "Pooh to you!!!"

Today in choir, we watched a lady, Jane Monheit (I think). Beautiful voice, just WONDERFUL. But here's the thing? she's not too pretty. And the make-up... my car doesn't have that much paint. I can't even THINK of all the layers she put on. As if that's not enough, it looks like she went through a car wash that ONLY shoots out glitter. Yeah, literally. And her lips were HUGE!!! But she thinks they're too small or something, so she put the lipstick like, half an inch around what legally are her lips. She made really funny faces when she sang, too. Not cool.

But a beautiful voice. That's what counts, right?

  1. i am glad you didnt care you saw you dance. heck - if i worried about what people thought about me... well, i'd live a fairly boring life! hehehe! and boring + emma = not happiness. Anyway - also funny about the choir lady. when gary sees someone like that he's always says, "ewww...what an ugly mutt"... in a sarcastic way. i know it's sorta wrong...but i can't help but laugh...
